According to a news report today, road funding remains a priority for state leaders. Governor Snyder told Mlive.com that a long-term solution for road funding is top priority for this year. According to the article:

Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville, R-Monroe, said Wednesday that the transportation issue is “monstrously important right now” as lawmakers set their agenda for the coming weeks and months.

“Although we’ve got some money in there, it’s mostly one-time,” Richardville said of road funding in the current budget plan. “We didn’t fix the structural problem.”

Contact your legislators today and tell them it is not to late to find a long-term solution for road funding.
