Local road commission managers are hopeful about road funding

In a Cadillac News article, Wexford County Road Commission Manager Alan Cooper said what it really boils down to — if something isn’t done now, it will cost much more in the future. He also said he agreed with Snyder that this shouldn’t be a political issue.

“It can get done if the politicians put aside politics. All the studies show it needs to be done, and I hope we will see an increase in infrastructure funding,” Cooper said.
